Free and Reduced Memberships for Seniors

Saline Area Seniors!

The Saline Rec Center and Saline Parks and Recreation is excited to announce a new program to offer free and reduced memberships for Saline Area Seniors to promote health and wellness in the community.

This program is a joint effort by Saline Parks and Recreation, Saline Area Social Service, Washtenaw County and the People's Express.

To be eligible for a FREE Rec Center membership To be eligible for a membership at a 75% discount
- be aged 60+
- live in the Saline area school district
- have an income below:
  • $43,400 for a one person household
  • $49,600 for a two person household
 - be aged 60+
- live in the Saline area school district
- have an income below:
  • $63,300 for a one person household
  • $75,750 for a two person household

If you are over 60 years of age and do not have reliable transportation, you may also qualify for free rides as part of your membership!


The Saline Recreation Center is a great resource for our community. With a membership to the Rec Center you can use the gymnasium, fitness rooms and aquatic center; you have access to over 25 free land fitness classes to support cardiovascular health, strength training and balance; a community center with opportunities to connect with others.
