Architectural Description: This two story house contains elements of both the Craftsman and Colonial Revival styles. It may have been built from a kit house or pattern book; however, further research is needed to determine this. The elongated shed dormers on the front (west) façade and rear (east) elevation each contain four windows. This type of dormer is also commonly seen on Craftsman houses. The off-center entry has a portico roof and round column supports, features that are typical of the Colonial Revival style.

History: Research has indicated that this house was built ca. 1922-28. It does not appear on the 1921 Sanborn Fire Insurance Map, but it is on the 1929 Sanborn map. Lee Tescher and his wife, Esther were documented on the 1930 U.S. Census as living here. Mr. Tescher’s occupation was listed as "Vice President of a bank." In the 1924 Saline City Directory, Lee and Esther Tescher were living at 307 North Ann Arbor Street and Lee Tescher's occupation is listed as "Cashier at Saline Saving’s Bank."
