This house is listed in the National Register of Historic Places as part of the North Ann Arbor Street District.

Architectural Description: This is a two-story, gabled ell (L-shaped plan), Folk Victorian style house with a one-story addition attached to the east elevation. This style of house often dictates the porch and entry door placement in the corner created by the intersection of the front gable and the wing. Additionally, the partial width porch is usually parallel with the front gable portion of the house, as is shown here. The porch on this house has a hipped roof, wood turned supports and solid wood brackets. The wood supports, stairs, balustrade and railings have been added recently. Modifications since the 1994 survey appear to include door and window replacement.

History: This house was built in ca. 1880. Known early occupants include Frank Rose and his wife Hattie, who lived here from 1910 through at least 1930. Mr. Rose was a station agent for the Lakeshore & Michigan Southern Railroads and served as Saline Village President in 1916.
