This house is listed in the National Register of Historic Places as part of the North Ann Arbor Street District.

Architectural Description: This is a two-story, gabled ell (L-shaped plan), Folk Victorian style house, set on a stone foundation. The wrap around porch has wood round support columns resting on a cobblestone balustrade and foundation. An addition has been added to the south rear of the house and there is a rectangular bay on the south elevation.

History: The date of construction on this home has been recorded as being ca. 1875. According to the Kosky & Glynn 1994 Survey, Alfred Miller purchased this lot before the 1871 platting of Bennett's Addition (see photo). The property at that time was within Lodi Township. Alfred Miller (farmer) and his wife, Sarah E. Miller, were listed together in the Saline City Directory until 1912. Later directories indicate Alfred as living alone. In addition to owning this property, the 1915 Plat Map shows a large plot of land owned by Miller on the north side of Bennett and to the west of Ann Arbor Street. Following Alfred Miller, Fred and Louella Lambarth lived in this house until 1953 (Kosky & Glynn).
