This house is listed in the National Register of Historic Places as part of the North Ann Arbor Street District.

Architectural Description: This is a gable-front and wing, vernacular Folk house. The gable section is two stories in height with a steeply pitched roof and wide eaves. The wing section is one-and-one-half stories. There is a hipped roof porch across the wing with tapered wood supports resting on brick piers.
A gabled-roof barn is located in the south rear section of the property.

History: This house appears on the 1888 Sanborn Fire Insurance Map. According to the National Register Nomination and the Kosky & Glynn Survey, the date of construction is ca. 1880. However, Saline historian Robert Lane has indicated this house was built before 1880. Further research will be necessary to add to the history of this home. The one-and-one-half story barn appeared for the first time on the 1899 Sanborn Map (Kosky & Glynn). Known occupants include John Wurster and his wife Dorothy, who lived here from 1915-1941.
