Architectural Description: This is a two-story, gabled ell (L-shaped), vernacular Gothic Revival style house. There is a wall dormer in the center of the wing section. The wrap around porch has details similar to those at 316 North Ann Arbor St., with tapered wood supports resting on brick piers and a plain wood balustrade. Gothic Revival wood lintels and surrounds are incorporated on most of the windows. There is a two story-addition on the rear of the house, which has been modified from one-and-one-half stories since the 1994 survey. A two-story gable front barn in the rear that appeared on the Sanborn map the same time as the house (1899).

History: This house appeared on the 1888 Sanborn Fire Insurance Map. The date of construction is 1880 on the National Registry Nomination and 1885 on the Survey by Kosky and Glynn. The wrap around porch did not appear until the 1929 Sanborn Map. Early owners included Herbert and Flora Rogers (1916), Louise Richards and George Roller (1920) and William and Ethel Elfring (1926).
