Architectural Description: This is a one-and-one-half story, side-gabled Craftsman/Bungalow style house. Similarities to its neighbor at 213 include the full width front porch, gabled dormer on the front (west) façade with a ribbon of windows, triangular knee bracing under the wide, overhanging eaves and a bay on the south elevation with a shed roof and exposed rafters. The front porch columns are stocky (like those at 213), but they rest on a solid brick balustrade instead of cobblestone piers and balustrade. Additionally, this house does not have the brick chimney that is seen at 213.

History: Sam Lambarth built this house for resale purposes in 1927 (next door to his own house at 213). John and Anna Guthardt were the first owners of this house. The Guthardts lived here until 1947. John was listed as a farmer in Saline Township on the 1910 Federal Census. On the 1940 U.S. Census, Anna was listed as a gardener at a greenhouse.
