Architectural Description: This is a two-story gable front Folk Victorian style house with a one-story addition on the north elevation. The façade features a full width porch with wood supports. Recent modifications include the addition of a double-hung window in the gable, vinyl siding, and updated windows. There is a two-story livery barn in the rear (currently used as a garage) on the south side of the property that was built around the same time as the house. This garage has vertical siding and modern paneled garage doors.

History: Dr. Frank Wells built this house in 1909. He lived here with his wife Annie until his death in 1920. According to his obituary in the Saline Observer (July 15, 1920), Dr. Wells graduated from the Michigan Agricultural College in 1871 and The Detroit College of Medicine in Veterinary Surgery. Additional early owners included Fred and Linda Brennion (1926-35) and the First Presbyterian Church (1947-65).
