Architectural Description: This is a Minimal Traditional ranch style house with a hipped roof and a stepped front façade. There is a large brick chimney on the north elevation. A one-car garage is attached to the north side of the house by an open breezeway.

History: This house was constructed in 1946. Previous owners include Rev. Arthur and Hilda Wacker. Arthur was the pastor at Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church in Scio Township from 1936-1962. Hilda was a nurse who was instrumental in running two of Saline’s first area hospitals (please see 203 West Henry Street). Arthur and Hilda were missionaries in central Africa in the mid-1950s (Hoenecke).
