Architectural Description: This is a two-and-one-half story, vernacular Queen Anne style house, resting on a stone foundation. The roof is hipped with cross gables. There are a variety of windows, including a diamond shaped window on the second story above the front door. There is a two-story cutaway bay on the west elevation of the house. A one-and-one-half story rear addition was added after 1994. The wrap around front porch has been altered since the 1994 Kosky & Glynn Survey. The porch now has simple wood turned supports, which replaced the previous wrought iron supports. The wrought iron railing has been removed. There is a two-story barn in the rear of the house.

History: The house was originally built in 1902. The architect/builder is unknown. City directory records indicate that George and Emma Donaldson lived here from 1906-1916, followed by Charles and Clara Gross from 1920-1947. Charles was the owner of Gross and Son, which specialized in farm implements.
The house was converted from a single residence to apartments (as it appears in the 1994 photo) but it was returned to a single residence sometime after the survey.
