Architectural Description: According to the 1994 Historical and Architectural Survey by Susan Kosky and Kathie Glynn, this two-story, gable-front house appears to be on the 1872 Bird’s Eye View of Saline. The report states that it probably was a vernacular Greek Revival Style house originally, that was remodeled in 1949 to resemble a gable-front Folk House. There is a stone foundation, wide trim boards beneath the eaves and a full width front porch.
Additional modifications to the house include a newer front door, porch railings and supports, and the modified porch configuration, which now wraps around to the east side.

History: This house was built pre-1872. Initial occupancy included Mary Nissley, who lived here from 1899-1916. Ida and Henry Boettger purchased the house in 1921 and lived there through 1941, followed by Bernard and Mabel Boettger, in 1947.
